Cheers to Healthy Writing

*pops cork and offers a toast*

We survived a week of unhealthy writing.  Now get busy with your healthy writing.  Set a goal and remember to hug your kids, dust your bunnies and feed your Significant Other as you work your way toward success.

What do you have planned this weekend to keep your personal life and your writing life in balance?

Me, I’m coaching a speech meet.  It’s not exactly a break from the writing process, but rather it’s a different way to look at it hear the written word.  After hanging with the speechies, I find myself refreshed and motivated to write.

Hugs and have a great weekend~

  1. Balance? Oh, right. Umm…

I usually spend it with family, but this weekend I might squeeze some time out to get a chunk of a project off my plate. Darn website revamping.

    • I am so terrified of website vamping, I can’t imagine revamping it. That’s why I have Cali! You darn techies turn me all shades of green.

Hope your website make-over went off without a hitch.

  2. We’re off for a week for our March/Spring break – so I’m looking forward to a lot of recharging! And maybe some writing too – which would be a lot easier if the laptop would return from Repair Land. Enjoy the weekend! 🙂

    • Oh, Jemi, this sounds wonderful. I hope you take advantage of this extra time to recharge your writing batteries. And now that you have a new laptop (I think I read) you can get something done!

      Hugs and enjoy.

  3. I think the best way to balance writing life and parenting/personal/fun life is having a set writing schedule – dedicating two-hour sessions in the morning and night, and then spending the rest of your time with your family or with other work you may have.

Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

    • It was a wonderful weekend. Thanks! We had two break finals (my Dear Daughter included)!

Two, two hour sessions sound delightful. I hope you get them yourself.

      Hugs~
